Well I didn’t think I would have the opportunity to be blogging about a competition, not any old competition but one that Growing Direct has been inspired to run…how has this happened I hear you murmur!
Really quite simply, I met at 4Networking Stratford-upon-Avon a really lovely lady whose business sells promotional gifts and items, which got us thinking that it would be kind of nice to say thank you to our new Clients for their business.
So we tasked Jody from Chilli Promotional products (yes I know I was a sucker for the name, being in the Fresh Produce game and all) – to supply us with a beautiful quality Notebook (as diary’s are so last year, don’t you think)?
Jody being an expert in providing her clients with high quality solutions to their business needs came up with Growing Directs delightful Green notebooks bound in high quality leather with a fabulous pen. Confession time – we love Stationery here at GD HQ!
Right onto the competition element – we’ve has such positive feedback from our fans on both Facebook and Twitter about our Notebooks, that we thought why not reward one of our amazing fans with an “exclusive” Growing Direct Fresh Produce Notebook?
Another confession at this point, one of GD’s Twitter friends is also running a competition, the format of which I’ve used here; he goes by the name @bigspud, in his you can win a Heston Blumenthal Oven Thermometer! What a great idea…
Well we thought if it’s good enough for Heston’s fans then it is certainly good enough for our lovely Growing Direct fans!
Finally I hear you cry how do I win one of Growing Directs fabulous Fresh Produce Notebooks? To enter, all you have to do is leave a comment below answering the following question:
What is your favourite Fresh Produce item (a Fruit, Vegetable or Salad) and why?
- The closing date for the competition is 10pm 31st October 2010.
- Comments posted after this time won’t be counted.
- I’ll pick a winner at random using the tried and tested Hat method.
